For my money, Repulse probably went in service circa 2290-2295, if we go by the registries and assume certain blocks were reserved for the Excelsiors, yet delayed when the Excelsior herself had her problems.

I happen to consider James Wright a friend, Vance. That he occasionally asks dumb questions and doesn't know how to use a google search makes him on exactly equal terms with my dad (who inexplicably ALSO fails to remember to check Memory Alpha for these kinds of questions).

It's amazing you have friends if you treat him that way. There are a billion ways you could have responded, you chose the 'Route of the Dick' (TM) instead of just politely directly linking to and plugging Memory Alpha.

Hey Vance, If you read the post right above that one, Galactic Squirrel was asking what RTFM stood for. If your going to read posts out of context, your going to mis-interprete quite a bit here.

Also, at the time I made my first post in this thread, James had about 6 or 7 other threads on page one of Trek tech all asking single questions with no indication of having attempted even a simple search for the information on his own.

Are you having a bad day? This post doesn't sound like you.

I have to agree a bit with Vance after all every question in this forum would be answered by the majority of the world's population with "who cares, its a fucking TV show, get a life!"

The whole point of this forum is for people who take the fictional Trek Tech world a bit more seriously than that to have somewhere to hang out with sympathetic, like-minded fans, being nice will not hurt anyone?
