Speaking of Shore leave, did any of the cast get to see the sneak peek? What did they say?
All of them got to see it...and they all loved it! While most were concerned with how they delivered their lines (as always), visually it was PERFECT. High praise!
It is official...we go live with Act 1 of Power Source on Monday at 8:00am PST..We have a few mirror sites already signed up, and all of those can be found on our main site http://www.farragut-animated.com under the EPISODES section.
I will post Monday morning to verify everything. I look forward to everyone's feedback.
Hard to believe the release is tomorrow, I've been working on this almost two years. Michael even longer. I hope it's a success.
Woo-hoo! Should be fun!
I agree...it should indeed be fun...
Be sure to check out the page : http://www.farragut-animated.com/episode.html at 8am tomorrow morning (PST).
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the moon landing, NEO f/x and Farragut Films would like to take you back in time...to a Saturday in 1973.
Presenting Act 1 of Power Source, written by Thomas J. Scott.
You can find the act at http://www.farragut-animated.com/episode.html
The files will go live at 8 am PST (or there about).
Act 2 and 3 will be released in August. More info on those is still to come.
Remember, you can always purchase Animated Farragut-related merchandise at our store: http://www.farragut-animated.com/store.html
I just downloaded it and am watching it again.
Must be 8 am somewhere
Hey whats up, I just saw Act 1 on youtube, looks great! Very nice work.
This morning has been a real bitch, but I'm downloading it now.
Depending on your thoughts, I may owe ypu a beer at the roadhouse on 185th...If you know enough people maybe we can have a premiere party at the beginning of September when the full episode is released.
Is it only the first act that's available now?
Looks... wow. Great. It brings back my misspent youth and Saturday morning Trek-watchings.
Great job all around, guys!
BTW -- I spotted what may be the first blooper!
Capt. Glenn apparently spells his name "Arron" instead of "Aaron."
Only Act 1....the others are almost done and will be released next month.
Also, I have been getting 'blooper' emails all morning...first about Thelin being the wrong color (no..he is a hybrid) to the bridge not having the second turbo lift (no...the Enterprise was retrofitted to include the second lift..the Farragut wasn't ). But you get the prize for the most observant....
Fortunately, it is easily changed....The 'final' version will have it corrected (I will send a note to the mirror sites to update their files once I get an update to it rendered.)
I am not sure what to reward you with, but how about this: GOOD CATCH
Ok...looks like people are right that I have OCD
I re-rendered all of the the video formats and now the mirrors/Facebook/YouTube should have the correct version.
I won't be doing this again....or will I....Either way, fixing these small things makes the final product even better! Enjoy!
Now this is very cool. If my house hadn't been built on a slab foundation, then my jaw would have dropped through the floor.
Great, great, great job.
This was fucking awesome cool. You guys even altered the main theme just like how Sandy Courage's theme was tweeked by the Filmation folks.
Gotta say -- can't *wait* to see the whole thing.
This project just makes me all kinds of happy.
Well, I finally got a chance to watch it last night. Twice. All I can do is to repeat some of the folks above me and say that it's an absolutely awesome production. It perfectly recreates the style of TAS, the score is excellent and the story is intriguing. My congratulations to everyone who was involved, this is certainly something to be proud of.
Amazing. Great work.
