If using Eaglemoss models means they're able to get far more ship classes on screen (when appropriate), then it works for me. It's like the 21st century equivalent of using an AMT model kit for the USS Constellation.

The Novas don't have glowing impulse engines, which is technically accurate to Voyager, but It was probably an FX error on Voyager.

The Nova model in Picard appears to be the original model made for Voyager, or at least built off it.

I hope they sent them everything they have
Especially the shuttles (Type 11, SC-4, Argo) - I'm sick of seeing the DIS shuttle again and again.
The updated Akira, Saber, and Norway look great as well. And the Sovereign class model from Nemesis probably still holds up today.

They probably took EM's Nova and modified it. I sincerely doubt they used the same exact CGI model from 23 years ago.

According to Ben Robinson's tweet, he only gave them the Nova and the Steamrunner. So either those will be the only Starfleet ships we see in Season 2, or they're making new ships as well.

EM's Nova CG model is the actual show model. No doubt they probably touched it up for the show though.

Well, the painting that drawing was based on is canon. The actual alternate universe Enterprise-D might be a bit different from that extrapolation. I wonder if we'll actually see that ship.

Even not, I'm sure the concept art the painting was based on will be used to make a model by Eaglemoss and or STO.

Had not read that. Interesting. Love the saucer design, not so hot on the stardrive section.
The proportions remind me of the ST:TNG Inner Space Enterprise D playset.
