We will see the USS Beverly Hills, NCC-90210.
The Melrose-class starship will be both an inferior as well as a superior ripoff of that design.
The guys on Trekyards mentioned that there were some resemblances though questionable with the hero ship in Renegades.
La Serina looks a whole lot less like arachnidesque than this. That being said, there seem to be to many conceptual parallels going on between Picard and Renegades to appear coincidental.
The Renegades ship has a better design but I like the color scheme of the La Sirena a lot better.

I give the poor guy a hard time, and I should probably apologize. I know that a lot of things that end up making it to air aren't necessarily what he envisioned.

His original DSC Enterprise was definitely the better version of what we got.
And to be fair, he is a competent if not a pretty good starship designer. It's not his fault Bryan Fuller wanted to completely ignore previous 23rd century starship design and just a decade before TOS. When you're told you can only design ships with long, pointy and jagged nacelles and oddball proportions you have to work with the parameters you're given.

It's 2030. There are 9 concurrent Trek shows running on CBS All Access. Every single show uses one starship design for everything, which John Eaves first submitted in 1997 and has resubmitted for every ship design he was ever asked for in the subsequent 33 years. He has reached the apex of concept design.
CBS: so lazy that even the eye is now bloodshot.
