Stargazer

I've noticed Matthew McFadyen's eerie resemblance to Brent Spiner, too. Why is Data playing a medieval monk? :D

Curiously enough, when John Birt, the character he played in Frost/ Nixon, was in charge of the BBC, his nickname there was 'The Dalek', for his boring speaking voice, lack of personality and insistence on efficiency and 'targets.'

It's not like that's the first time.

But I don't think there's the remotest chance of the TNG crew appearing onscreen ever again, whether in a sequel to NEM, a reboot/ remake or prequel.
True, Marina Sirtis' guest appearances on VOY will probably remain the last TV appearance of a TNG character.

I think Sirtis and Frakes's appearance in TATV have the VOY appearance beat.
That distortion of the screen when B&B were trying to take a shit on my TV?

Under his watch, shows weren't cancelled, they were EX-TER-MI-NATE-ED!!

^ And would you believe, one of them was, yes, Doctor Who?! (He was in charge when it was scrapped in 1989, though the decision was taken by his colleague Michael Grade).

I just rewatched the BBC documentary "Alchemists of Sound" on YouTube, and I'm pretty sure they showed a cartoon of Birt as a Dalek (probably from the Radio Times).

cool thing would be that the cardies could be the baddies, picard mentioned the stargazer had ran int the cardassians during the border wars
