I'm watching DS9 again and does it state in any episode on how many starfleet personnel was stationed on deep space nine .? Just curious.I've been watching the first two seasons I know what it started off bloody slow some episodes are dire !! Just watching the three parter episode from season 2 the homecoming the circle and the seige, not bad I must have been on cloud 9 to watch the first two seasons and still enjoy it. Way of the warrior really made a diffrance to whole series.

Your thoughts guys and girls ?

I think it varies. "Captive Pursuit" established around 300 people total on DS9, but that was fairly early on in the series and the number likely changed as the station's importance to the Federation changed. It probably developed a much larger Starfleet presence during the war, IMO.

Let's remember that before the "war upgrades" we learned of in "Way of the Warrior", the entire Starfleet complement was supposed to have been evacuable by the use of just the runabouts ("The Circle", possibly also "Visionary"). If one runabout can hold about sixty people, tops ("The Homecoming"), and there's time for just one sortie, and the station can accommodate no more than six runabouts at a time (three to four seemed to be the standard, most of the time), then that's more or less consistent with the "Captive Pursuit" figure of no more than 300 Starfleeters. And that would include not just the crew but also their possible civilian hangarounds.
