That's actors were great, I really enjoyed it. Its already green light for season 2 and I think they should build a Mythology Land at Disney given how much stuff from ancient Mythology Disney and its perchased companies like Marvel and Fox have produced (animated Herucles movie, Hercules animated TV series including Aladdin crossover, upcoming live action Hecules, Fantasia, Marvel universe is filled with Ancient Deities like Thor, Zeus, Hercules, etc..., Percy Jackson movies and the TV, etc...).
But none of that has anything to do with Star Trek at all, because uts a completely different company.
Sony and Apollo want to buy Paramount Global, that doesn't mean its for sale to them Sherry Redstone has her heart set on Skydance because she wants Paramount's legacy protected and expanded, not ripped apart and fed upon by jackles just to please greedy Shareholders. Its nice to see someone putting what's right before greedy shareholders for a change.

That would be pretty cool. I am currently an undergraduate at the age of 46. It's a weird situation befriending people so much younger than me, and balancing being a source of "wisdom" and being more lost than they are. Adulthood is truly a farce.

Academy was approved before Legacy was a public idea.
They should have just cancelled Academy or turn it into a movie like the Section 31 movie then give us the Legacy show. They have had success in SNW when giving the fans what they want. Then finish off Lower Decks and give us a Cartoon Trek anthology series like the Marvel What If cartoon and then later give us our first planet based setting Trek show. Set either on Nimbus III or the Space Vegas planet. Then do a Captain Sulu cartoon show to follow the anthology show.
Well, buy Paramount and do it.

As for Legacy, I must say I'm impressed the memberberry buzz from the mess that was Picard S3 still hasn't dissipated. The only thing that gave that last limp across the finish line a bump in ratings was the reunion angle. What makes anyone think Captain Seven and the adventures of Enterprise-G would be the hit TPTB want out of Trek? Also, what evidence is there that Matalas is a good showrunner - Picard S3? Yikes. Throw enough nostalgia at the wall and something will stick, I guess. Just don't mistake your affection for the nonsense that was Picard S3 (and yes, I got a warm fuzzy feeling as well when Bev belted the Borg Cube with photon torpedoes) for quality.
Perhaps better management of the company and its assets in the past 20 or so years might have been the best way to protect Paramount's legacy.
And greedy? The Skydance deal nets Redstone more money (or at least it did) and gives the short shrift to bog standard shareholders. Why shouldn't they want the best deal?
