News Starfleet Academy Coming to P+

I´m just anxious till they announce the characters. They might be potentially much more interesting than in any other series before.

Potentially

Also, is your name a reference to this guy?

If this show doesn’t have a central starship, I wonder what they’ll use for the opening fly around the delta animation

Even if there is no starship, I imagine there might be a scout ship or something that can be used in the opening graphic. Just like if they had been doing those things during DS9's first two seasons, they'd likely have used a runabout.

I suppose they will reuse the shuttle set and exterior they built for that quasi-backdoor pilot from last season. If they re-use the Discovery bridge, it will probably be in the form of battle simulations on the holodeck (or whatever they are calling it by the 32nd century).

What could also be possible is that they establish something like the smaller one-person fighters they had on “The First Duty”.

One of the cadets perhaps?

I'm pretty sure it will have a hero ship. I think it was mentioned in the recent variety article when it's mentioned that Alex kurtzman is reviewing ship designs and he wants something that can easily be recognised as a federation starship

Wasn't the old Constitution-class (or older) Republic a cadet training ship in TOS and DS9?

Maybe they can just reuse the Discovery bridge, or restore the Shenzhou, or hop over to SNW and borrow their bridge and keep the crusty old Republic a thing.
