Starbase Studios. A TOS fan film studio for everyone.

I might want to contact folks who make music videos.

I had this vision once of the two "robots" that make up Daft Punk at the Helm with Iron Man in Kirk's Chair--Boba Fett at Spack's station--Cortana in communications, Master Chief for Scotty

Open House at Starbase Studios
Saturday April 23, 2016 in Oklahoma City

It's that time again Star Trek fans. Your chance to visit the recreated sets from the original Star Trek. Tour the 360 degree Starship Bridge, visit Dr. McCoy's Sick Bay and see the newly completed Transporter Room. Also meet cast members from many of the fan films that dock at the studio.

This years open house is the morning after "The Ultimate Voyage" concert tour in Okc. so make it a Star Trek filled weekend. Tulsa Trekkies, there's plenty of time to make the Open House in the morning and the concert that night. Get your discount concert tickets on our website.

This is a free, family friendly event so bring the crew and join us for a day of geeking out in the 1966 version of the 23rd century.

BTW, Kodak is releasing a digital super-8 camera.
No, I didn't stutter.

Primative cameras could be used to show pre-Pike era events to give a WWII feel to TOS productions

http://www.kodak.com/ek/US/en/corp/...ng_Revival_Initiative_at_CES_2016/default.htm

These formats, camcorders, all can be mixed to imply age, passage of time, etc.

Or, someone who knows what they're doing in post could achieve the same effect, regardless of what camera is used. Its a nice idea, but hardly the gamechanger this Kodak camera might seem to be ;) (he said, while simultaneously scoping out the new camera )

I got to go to this, I had a great time and got to meet several nice people involved with the Grissom and Valiant Crews. Unfortunately I was pressed for time, The owner (I forget his name, I'm terrible with names) Showed me around, I can tell you that space is a premium there, and the bridge set is bigger than it looks. I'm glad I was able to go. Had no Idea there was a Trek Scene here in OKC.....

Thank you for coming, we had a great weekend. Maybe it's time to think about making your own fan film.
