I downloaded it and watched it, I hate it with a firey passion.
To put it this way so you understand
Id rather live through 9/11 20 more times than see this movie again
Id rather be told i have cancer than see this movie again
Id rather see world war 3 and humanity eradicated than see this movie again
Gotta say that I don't know if it's the drugs you're taking, or the ones you should be taking, but something needs to be changed.

I'm done with this conversation. It was funny at first - but now it's rather like bearbaiting - sad, scary and a bit sickening.

Candle_86, i suggest you leave your computer, take a deep breath and get some perspective. Its just a film, if you hate it, dont watch it. No one is impressed by your "dedication" to Real Universe Star Trek, you're just making yourself look ridiculous. Of course thats actually assuming you are serious, and not simply Trolling, which is much more likely.
Wow, I really enjoyed the movie last night when I saw it, came here today to see what the truly devout, wearing costumes to conventions crowd thought.
I guess it must be a nice view from that throne of judgment you sit up on out there in space. Too bad someone gave you a loudspeaker to broadcast your message of hate to the rest of us.
Funny that Trek has a strong message of peace and here you are spewing hate about the new movie.
Because its not trek, its so far away from Trek, I have every right to hate it with a passion.

Diplomacy of any king, the use of logic, the realationship with jim, bones and spock.

I just say that people who want to criticize the movie don't get to claim to be more long-term fans, or smarter, or more sophisticated, or more loyal, or less "ADHD" or less easily fooled or any of the fifteen other repetitious and stupid gambits that they've opened with in this forum because they can't stand to be seen to hold a minority opinion on the strength of personal taste alone.

You don't see anyone tearing up guys like Gep Malakai for not liking the movie. He stands up like a man and states his opinion as an opinion.
I am not a troll, I resent the movie and for the life of me see no reason anyone else enjoys this trash. In all honesty I do not see the appeal when I finished it, I had a metalic taste in my mouth from clenching my teeth as I saw my beloved tore apart. I have an absolute total hatred for JJ Ambrams, and Chris pine more so than anyone else, and if either of them died right now I would break open some wine and toast to there very death.

Disregarding that last statement which is, to be honest, very creepy, you really cannot see how any other person could have enjoyed this movie? Do you have no empathy? Because, even if you personally disagree, most people can see objectively; they can see the appeal something would have for someone which doesn't appeal to themselves. It's a basic aspect of Human social interaction; without it, society would not function.
I dont enteract I get paid to sit at home and moderate a game I am not at liberty to mention on here, my human enteraction is my Girl Friend, and going to get a burger, thats about it. So no I dont see the appeal, and neither does she either out of fear or she genuenlly dislikes it either way im happy;.

I didnt like the film either, but wishing for the death of those involved making it, or despising the people who did like it is utterly absurd. You are making yourself look like a nutcase frankly. Very few things are worth hating to that extent, a crap version of Star Trek is certainly not one of them.

If I remember correctly, in this movie Jim and Bones are forming a friendship, and act the way me and most other 20 somethings in school act for each other. Jim and Spock just met and are also forming a relatioship. So your argument sounds kind of silly. What, did you expect them to meet and start reminiscing over the events of episode 33? Come on man, that's crazy!
And if you can sit there and tell me that at the ripe young age of 20 something you would approach a situation with diplomacy when someone walked up and started punching you, then I must say I feel bad for you. This
