If they really are done, then it would be a shame to see them just sit around unused and unreleased until they turn to dust.

Star Wars Detours, OTOH, is probably best left buried forever.

I just found the Detours trailer on youtube and I thought some of it was pretty funny.

Io9 has an article about the origins of the test footage, they say it was footage that Rick McAllum hired Stargate Studios to make in order to sell the show to networks. According to the article the studios whose people saw it liked it, but obviously not enough to pick it up.
