Speaking of "Rebels," are we ever going to get another season? They left things hanging with Ezra going off to find the Emperor, or whatever happened (it's been a while since I watched, so the details are a little fuzzy now).

Kor
Not likely, no.

It had a finale with an epilogue and everything. Why would there ever be more?
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure we'll see those characters in other stories in the (possibly very near) future, but that show is quite clearly done.
Any hanging threads were clearly left to allow the characters to 1) ride off into the sunset on the off chance their stories don't get to continue, and 2) give future stories some place to go if they do.

That was written specifically as the end of the show, so they never intended on following it up... on Rebels. I don't think he's been officially confirmed, but it seems they wrote it that way specifically to take Ezra and Thrawn off the board before the Original Trilogy started.
Now that we're getting more post-Return of The Jedi content, we might get a follow up at some point, but if we do it won't be another season of Rebels.

I fully imagine it will come up eventually in the Mandalorian. If Ahsoka shows up, there will bound to be questions (from the audiance).

Honestly I wouldn't hold my breath for explicit answers in that particular eventuality. Such an appearance were it to occur would still have to make sense within the narrative of that show and that particular episode. A hint perhaps, or implication through context at best.
I mean when Luke was practicing the remote, Chewie didn't randomly yell out "hey, I once escaped from a hunter's moon with a bunch of Jedi, and then I helped another one escape his clone army! And you two are droids right? I know droids! We put one's brain in that wall over there..." It'd be kind of a non-sequitur.

Exactly. There is no reason to expect exposition if it isn't relevant.

Maybe he did said that but we couldn't onderstand him :)

That just feels like to big of a deal to resolve in a one line and then move on, and that's probably all we'd get on The Mandalorian. If they're going to pick it back up, it's going to be somewhere where they can go deeper into it.

For anyone interested, the comic adaptation is cancelled. No reason given why but I could take a good guess. Maybe a TPB down the line.

That's a shame, I think that will make it the only movie not to get a comic adaptation.

Hard to imagine they won't come back to it at some point. With the other adaptations they always added some lines or scenes (either deleted from the final cut or brand new) to enrich the story. And this particular one needs all the script doctor help it can get.

It's a piece of shit?
That seems unlikely. For one, we have an Attack of the Clones comic adaption, and an adaption was in fact planned and at least the cover for the first issue already drawn. I'd imagine the pandemic stalled production and would have forced an even later release, which would have been even less profitable, since buzz probably decreased even more.

Then again, we're living under capitalism, so the answer to probably most of such "why didn't this happen" question can be answered with "they didn't think it'd make enough money".

I wouldn't go that far, there was a lot I really liked in TRoS, but it tried to do way too much, please way too many people, and to say it didn't quite stick the landing is one hell of an understatement.

Exactly. It needed to be either a three-hour movie or a 'Deathly Hallows' style two-parter, and/or they needed to push the release date back to allow time to fine-tune the story (which would have run right into COVID, so probably just as well they didn't). And Abrams would be allowed neither.

It stuck it well enough. The only lackluster part for me was the Knights of Ren. Sadly underused.
