It is a conspiracy that Iger HAS been talking about recent SW decisions and NOT KK in public for the last 8 moths. Is something one can observe a conspiracy theory?
Both gainfully employed. But how much of their voices are really being heard. I mean ever notice Iger is doing more interviews about SW while KK hasn't been seen or heard from since Solo until like the night of the 9 premier?
Or that there is TONS of drama still happening at Trek and Kurtzman is still there at least until it all shakes itself loose
The below is conspiracy theory style speculation:It is a conspiracy that Iger HAS been talking about recent SW decisions and NOT KK in public for the last 8 moths. Is something one can observe a conspiracy theory?

How is this not a sitcom already?Doomcock and ME
were they not 95% accurate with the story leaks? How is this not a sitcom already?
It was a joke about the name "Doomcock and ME", nothing more. It has nothing to do with whatever stupid argument you're making this time.were they not 95% accurate with the story leaks?
September: Iger mentions SW slowdown. Also, he mentions that the "buck stops here" with him. Even though KK is head of the company. now she is either being nursemaided or being let of the hook?
More reports of Iger speaking about SW, and slowing it down, in November.. but KK should be the one speaking. Feige has no problem speaking for MCU
“I made the timing decision, and as I look back, I think the mistake that I made — I take the blame — was a little too much, too fast. You can expect some slowdown, but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to make films. J.J. [Abrams] is busy making [Episode] IX. We have creative entities, including [Game of Thrones creators David] Benioff and [D.B.] Weiss, who are developing sagas of their own, which we haven’t been specific about. And we are just at the point where we’re going to start making decisions about what comes next after J.J.’s. But I think we’re going to be a little bit more careful about volume and timing. And the buck stops here on that.”

You'll have to explain it's greatness to me. I just don't see it. I was bored, struggling to keep myself from falling asleep.
Yes, I am aware of what ME refers to, Captain Tedium. Are you this desperate for another argument that you'll invent one where none exists?ME stands for Midnight's Edge. Two different people. Unfunny joke
they knew that B and W were off SW many months before the it was announced. But you miss my point. What Iger is doing.. speaking about failures or what SW is going to do moving forward.. is KK's job, not the friggin' head of Disney!!!
I thought she was just a "glorified secretary" according to you? I bet she'll be delighted to find out you've granted her new responsibilities. Is KK's job, not the friggin' head of Disney!!!
tha's a bit off topic. So, in terms of the films, what do you like about Star Wars?

Other than maybe 2001, the original film is my favorite film of all time. It is a bit rough around the edges, but that is part of its appeal. It has a great story, a world that at least seems real, with memorable character that play off each other. The chemistry is off the charts. It is a story that is timeless, that is universal. Yet it is equal parts fun and strange. Exciting, mythic with relateable characters. But while everything happening on the screen is some of the best cinematic storytelling I've seen, it's only half the reason I like Star Wars. It's all the innovations behind the scenes, all placed against some heavy obstacles (like the fact that some thing they didn't even KNOW they could do, while the studio was wanting to shut the whole project down). It's a project that works so well yet was a hair away from falling flat on it's face and being too cheesy to have any weight to it
It was by people who invested in the film and thought such changes would bring in a bigger box office haul. And if you're wondering how then could they be wrong...Hollywood has been after the 'perfect formula' (IE - minimal production cost for maximum box office return) since it started, and hasn't hit on a 100% repeatable formula yet - but when people put in their money, they have ideas and want a say. It's up the the producers/director, etc. to cull those ideas/keep investors happy while they make their film. That's very true. I'll say there was meddling but by who? Was it the studio and why?
Exactly. Owning failures is part of his job, his responsibility, and he did it.Actually, it is the job of the "friggin' head of Disney" to take failures on the chin. He is the public face of Disney and all of its subsidiaries. He takes it because he's a good leader.
Exactly. Not because she is female, or ticks an equality box, but because she's a relateable character who I can root for when watching with my kids. I like a lot of the new characters in fact. I don't need backstage sources to base my opinions around, or Youtube videos made by people who have no more important or educated opinion than my own.
