Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

I've got this game on the PSP and absolutely love it. I've beaten it in story mode 4-5 times. Beaten the Force Duels mode, beaten Order 66 and all the historic missions. Could easily go and play it right now. So naturally, when I bought my PS3, I figured this was one of the games I couldn't do without. Wrong! I'm enjoying it a lot less on the PS3. Seems tedious and more difficult.

Besides the more difficult gameplay, the controls and combos are more complicated. If you die right after a setup scene and before a save point, said setup scene plays again. Also don't like that you have to buy the Jedi Temple portion, which comes standard on the PSP. And the Jedi Temple doesn't seem to be used in the same manner. On the PSP, Vader sends you to the Temple for trials in between assignments. On the PS3, the Temple is a separate mode to play.

Maybe I should have played this game on the PS3 first. At this rate, I'm doubting I'll play it again on the PS3 once I complete it.

The PS2/PSP/Wii game is essentially a different game from the PS3/360 version, and they did this thing where the various versions have some exclusive bit of content.

^On the PS3 though the exclusive content seems to be extra bugs and a hideously broken boss fight with the Star Destroyer. :)

^Those aren't bugs. Those are game enhancement devices. The men in the suits from Sony's Customer Concern Care Squad will be over shortly.

I'd heard that the PSP version got much better reviews than the 360/PS3 version. I haven't played either, but might pick up the PSP game at some point.

Well, let's just say that it's probably telling that the majority of the development team was fired before the game even shipped.
