Well, they are - it's called Metal Gear Solid: Rising and you play as Raiden...who you play most of Sons of Liberty as as well.

So can anyone tell me the last they made even a "good" Star Wars game?

I guess it depends on what you like. I've enjoyed the two Lego Star Wars games, Empire at War and Republic Commando and I enjoyed TFU1, which would be the most recent Star Wars game I've played...so my answer would be 2009.

I've never bothered with any of the Lego games. I mean aside from the fact I'm not 5, what I've seen of the gameplay just doesn't appeal to me.

I have on the other hand played both Republic Commando and Empire at War and rather enjoyed the first while I could either take or leave the latter (never like the ground battles in EaW for some reason.) Mind you though, I had totally forgotten about both of these until you mentioned them so they couldn't have made that much of an impression.

I enjoyed Republic Commando well enough. I would have liked to see a sequel. Dunno why they never bothered with one.

The last really good Star Wars game was the last Dark Forces/Jedi Knight title, imo..

Jedi Academy was fun

Ep 3 & TFU was ok

SWBF 1 was fun with friends

but too many bad eggs in the basket.
