Also, no B-, which is how I wanted to grade it. So, I rounded down.Is it odd that I was pretty unenthused by it, but would still say it’s a pretty solid ‘B’?
Also, just realised the C-F grades up the top there don’t have +/-. The system is rigged!![]()

I will now blame you for turning me on to yet another Star Wars podcastI was listening to the Full of Sith podcast and its Hosts (two of whom I have had the pleasure of meeting) were quick to dispel - based on their intimate knowledge of the franchise's inner workings gleaned from "insider access" to the creators and the creative process behind the scenes - the notion that Solo is going to be a "loss" for Lucasfilm in the long run

I don't think anyone is denying the essential--hell, damn near heroic contribution of the three editors.
We finally saw it yesterday.
I really enjoyed it. More than I thought I would, given all the negative reactions.
The action sequences were awesome (the train, the gravity well). I thought both Han and Lando were well done. We get a little twist/fanwank at the end.
I give a B+. Not as good as Rogue One, but certainly better than I had been led to believe.
The way some people act, every hero in every story ever is a Mary Sue.Han Solo is a Mary Sue?
I have to give credit to both Clone Wars, Rebels, and Solo for increasing my interest in Maul even more than before, and that's with how much fun he is to play in Battlefront II.Maul scene in HD
Mileage will vary. I enjoyed both of them and found them interesting. Far more interesting than Boba Fett and his unearned fame. The work Clone Wars and Rebels did with Maul gives me hope Resistance can do something with Phasma or Hux and make them interesting.
Hiss!Far more interesting than Boba Fett and his unearned fame.
He became popular because he looked cool, not because of anything he did.

Nope. That's been around for a lot longer in human historySo he was foreshadowing the modern age of celebrities.![]()

I absolutely loved the visual design and ‘period piece’ visual styling they accomplished in the movie.

Your honor, exhibit A.

And both Fett and Phasma went down like punks.![]()

At least Han connected with his blow. That air kick from Luke remains one of the most ridiculous 'stunts' in movie history.
Well, Phasma does beat out in Fett in one respect... she went down like a punk twice.![]()
