You talking about the computer display screen showing the star destroyer's shields as dots around the ship? Yeah, I caught that.
That and the matching dialogue after.
Overall I enjoyed it, fluffy though it was. Visually, S2 was *ahem* out of this world!
Resistance has received an Emmy nomination for Best Children's Program. (It's a little more than halfway down the list.)
I think my main disappointment with the show is that the setting felt wasted. It would have been so much better if they'd gone all in on the golden age of aviation/Rocketeer meets Miyazaki vibe the initially released concept art seemed to promise. Start the show off humble and unassuming; low stakes, high adventure. Make sure all of the various pilot characters and pit crews are well established before introducing the First Order and the Resistance and flipping all the tables over. If 'The Clone Wars' was to show how heroes can fall and how there are no "good guys" in war, while 'Rebels' showed how people can rise up and defeat and oppressive system, then have 'Resistance' show how ordinary people react to creeping nationalism and radicalisation taking advantage of a complacent and fragile democracy.
I feel like they wasted almost the first season building a mystery everyone already knew the answer to. Also, having BB-8 around just felt like a naked merchandising edict, especially when he just got hot-swapped from an essentially identical droid (in terms of character.) That among other things makes me feel like this was either a show created by committee, or destroyed by one. It lacks the singular vision that so defined and distinguished the previous two shows.
