Star Wars Rebels Season Three (spoilers)

I thought more of "Wall-E".

Oh, that ending was so annoying. And he started singing. The good part was when you heard he smack against the wall when the Ghost scooped him up.

I just read that in an interview with writer Charles Soule on StarWars.com that the new Darth Vader comic series will deal quite a bit with the beginning of the Inquisitors.
He's not specifically mentioned, but I would surprised if this meant we might get an appearance by the Grand Inquisitor. I'm assuming if he was that high up in their ranks that he was probably one of the first people recruited into the group.

Having just finished Ahsoka, I'm wondering if it will also depict Sixth Brother, the one established Inquisitor who hasn't been portrayed visually yet (although the description makes him sound a lot like Fifth Brother). Given the time frame, it might even dovetail with the novel.

He appeared at the end of the Ahsoka novel which was set a little over a year after RotS, so it certainly seems likely.
Indeed, the mere fact that he was a former Temple Guard indicates he defected very early on. If I had to guess: during Vader's assault on the Temple. The only question is: how did he survive? I doubt Vader would have shown anymore mercy or quarter to a surrendering guard than he did to the defenceless younglings.

The only thing I can think of is that he abandoned his post and fled the temple only for Vader to track him down later in the Coruscant underworld.

Well. That might have been an entertaining episode (and it still mostly was). But they couldn't make it work without making Wedge (WEDGE!) and most of the crew of the Ghost stupid. I hate stupid. Even Hera was dumber than she ought to have been.

AP-5 and Chopper were taken to their maniacal extremes. What if R2-D2 and C-3PO were totally insane?

AP-5 is now officially Marvin. I wonder if that was the plan all along or if it just shook out that way.

I had no idea that Lobot Jr. was Josh Gad! Olaf is an Imperial stooge!

Where the hell is Kanan? And will we get to see (hear!) Bendu one more time before The End?

Is it sad that I had the exact same thought?
Probably not, since they've now addressed that question in Rebels Recon.

I know! I thought of you when I saw that!

To be fair, Wedge was the only one who can be classified as "stupid." And even then, this is young and inexperienced Wedge on probably his first command. The rest of the Ghost crew pretty much quickly latched onto Chopper being a nice bot as the red flag it was when Wedge told them about it, but Chopper already had the drop on them by that point.

I have my own theory about Bendu based on spoilers I've read. Without going into detail, yes, I am inclined to believe we'll see him again before the season ends.

Just saw it this morning. Awesome episode--and nods aplenty towards A New Hope, although I'm sure it'll raise some questions too.
