I noticed that Lando was wearing second-class (yellow) Corellian Bloodstripes on his trousers, a bit of old Expanded Universe continuity (I remember the 1987 Star Wars Sourcebook from West End Games suggesting that Lando might be Corellian like Han).
Releasing the episodes they finished.
Even released a few they didn't finish.
And made a comic from the ones they weren't able to make.
I am really loving this series, and even though we have had guest spots from C3PO, R2-D2, Darth Vader, Yoda and now Lando....in all honesty, I haven't had issues with any of them. 3PO and R2 maybe stretched plausibility the most, but it was pretty good for a second episode and the show has only progressed since then.
Even though the show is kind of standalone at the moment, they have had serialized elements in there and do seem to be planting seeds for an overreaching story arc, which I can't wait to see pan out a bit more clearly.

Has this Lando episode actually aired? I assume the episode is out early via iTunes or other nefarious means.
^ It's scheduled to air on Disney XD on January 19th., but it is already available in my area on the Charter "On Demand" section for DisneyXD and Rebels...

The sad news is... I think we'll be strung along for a bit of a Rebels episode drought... absolutely no new episode air dates have been released so far, so Idiot's Array could be the last one for a while.
There are supposedly 16 episodes this season. With Idiot's Array being #09. So either 7 remain, or 5 remain if they count the premiere as 2 episodes - I've read conflicting info on this.

Well, I loved Idiot's Array too, especially when Lando crawled out of the shadows to introduce himself (as if those of us who already recognized BDeeW hadn't already made him). I've been avoiding spoilers as much as possible, so his appearance really surprised me. 
It certainly is nice hearing those original actors reprising their voice roles (2 only ever were voices technically), and I have to admit I nearly started bawling last week when I heard Yoda and realized it was THE Frank Oz. As much as I appreciated the voice work for Yoda on TCW, hearing the original Master really poked me in the gut.

Which two? James Earl Jones was one, but both Anthony Daniels and Frank Oz provided the physical performances for their characters as well as the voices. So who's the second?

I'd say I loved seeing Lando, but the plot itself was just okay.

I was only counting Jones, Oz and Williams in my quickie mind list (this is why post-it notes are the other half of my brain).
Now that you mention it, I didn't mean to undercut the physical performances of either Daniels or Frank Oz in their individual roles. I think I was just quickly (and unfairly) equating them with a Jones vs. Prowse type of situation, tying so much of their respective character portrayals to their vivid vocal artistry, which tends to come through regardless of how they are presenting the visuals. I guess I sort of glossed over that aspect. Thank you for correcting me. (Met Prowse at a convention too. Great guy!
)Honestly, I can't begin to know what it's like to spend so many hours in some scorching hot desert (or any environment really, harsh or otherwise) wrapped up in that shiny hard costume, and still manage to create a character we all know and love.
Just caught "Idiot's Array" via On Demand. I wasn't too impressed by Lando's guest shot. Billy Dee Williams gave a slurred, lackadaisical performance that sounded kinda drunk, and the character animation of Lando was generically cartoony and didn't really feel like a representation of Williams's performance. And as far as the story went, he could've just been a generic con-man character, since there were no continuity ties to speak of.
Honestly, I felt that Williams was upstaged by James Hong as the villain. Hong always gives a fun vocal performance. It was nice of them to bring Hong back, after the way the Clone Wars episodes he did went unfinished (although they were released online in animatic form).
Is this the first time it's been mentioned that the Ghost is a Corellian ship? I guess that explains its design similarities to the Millennium Falcon. (In-universe, that is. Isn't it based on one of McQuarrie's concept sketches for the MF?)

Enjoyable enough for a filler episode. It had some fun bits, though It'd be nice if for once they didn't solve a problem with their guns.
Otoh, I liked what they did with Lando. Making him kind of a bastard. I admit in the films he always felt a bit too much to me like Han Solo lite. But wow, he sure laid it on thick with the ladies.As for Williams performance, his speech did seem a bit odd, but then I've heard that he's had health issues, so I'm willing to be forgiving.
High points as always for the production designs. Loved the baddies ship. Wasn't it basically Jabba's barge with engines? Built be the same manufacturer perhaps?
Also the Republic troop ship pieces hanging over the bar entrance in the opening was a nice touch.
Was nice to see it as more of an ensemble piece, instead of singling out the kid as usual.
Also props for letting Hera do more than fly the ship.

Yeah, after I made my post, I belatedly wondered if maybe there was a medical reason for the way his voice sounded. He's not a young man anymore, after all. But in that case, maybe it would've been better to go with an impersonator than to use Williams himself. Maybe Obba Babatunde, who's played Lando in various Star Wars video games, according to IMDb.
But unfortunately it still has Ezra and Zeb acting like idiots and causing trouble.
She's been doing more than that all along; it's been clear for a while that she's the actual leader of the cell and just lets Kanan take the credit. Plus she's been the mother figure keeping the rest in line. It's subtler than the usual running-and-shooting stuff, but it's important. Plus she had that great team-up episode with Sabine a while back.
