Star Wars Heir To The Empire special edition coming

When they said "Special Edition" I thought it meant they were going to alter it to make it fit with the Prequels in terms of the Clone Wars taking place 50 years in the past, the nature of the cloning, etc...

They should do the same thing with Coruscant Nights, which doesn't have the excuse of having been written before the PT. Just say no to drugs.:scream:

I'd like to see the original outline, which has a clone Obi-Wan. (Joruus C'boath replaced him.)

It's C'baoth.

However, I figured the Republic fell much longer than 20 years previously, and that the twins were born long after Anakin became a Sith, rather than around the same time

But then you get armored Vader having sex with Padme, and that doesn't really work.

^ The OT films never say exactly when the armor comes into play... but I agree that Luke and Leia's conception should be in Anakin's pre-Sith days. Which either means that Lucas actually got something right by putting the Clone Wars twenty years before Yavin, or Anakin's fall occurred halfway between those two events, with twenty years on either side.

Myself, as much as I hold the Thrawn trilogy to be canon (and the PT not), I'd be willing to go with the former option. It certainly makes for a more exciting PT... not that that really helped...:p
