Fate just like Legacy would've been better if it was shorter. Four or five books instead of nine. There's too much filler in both series.

In terms of the TOR novels, I preferred Fatal Alliance to Deceived. Deceived was ridiculously short, and at the end of the story, the status quo of the characters had barely changed. It felt too much like a tie-in, whereas Fatal Alliance at least felt like it stood apart as its own story.

About Deceived, what I liked best was how Darth Malgus was handled. I do disagree with you though about the status quo not being changed for some of the main characters. I think the three main characters all experienced some major changes.

I agree. This was more evident in Fate for me. I mean, they too many plots going and with some of them, they could've just made whole new series or novels from instead of jamming them all into the Fate series.

You might be right, I blitzed it in two sittings and didn't find it particularly memorable. I think the only parts I really liked were the parts with the Sith lord and his Twi'lek slave.

With the comics, I finished the Agent of the Empire and Knights of the Old Republic: War series. Both got better as they went on. I wasn't impressed with either first issue but by the end of their runs I thought both series were good. I didn't care for the artwork in KOTR, but I did like the artwork in Agent...
I thought Agent of the Empire was an ongoing series?

You're correct. I should've said the first arc of the series. At first I didn't know if it would be ongoing but it does say that there will be further adventures at the end of Iron Eclipse.

I believe that Knights of the Old Republic will probably return at some point too.
