George Lucas' fanboy imitation is pretty funny.

A theory on Luke circulating on the intertubes... Take it as you wish.

Luke's whole point is that he is ultimately incorruptible. He might be tempted--everyone is--but when it comes down to it he'll do the right thing. Some people might find that boring, but I think it's refreshing. The current trend in entertainment seems to favor more cynical, morally grey heroes. That's not Luke, and it shouldn't ever be.
I always viewed Obi-Wan as Optimus and Luke as Rodimus Prime.

Or for some reason think he shouldn't be the chosen one AFTER killing the ultimate evil dude.

As cool as it would be to have Luke revealed as a Sith at the end of the movie (and in the next two movies finding out why and how) this article is really the definition of grasping at straws and bending events to suit his theory.
Lucas never wrote a psychological masterpiece.. his story was about good vs. evil, black vs. white and he was not very subtle about it.
He is right that Luke loses it in the Throne Room for a while but he pulls back from the brink once he sees his cyborg father beaten on the ground and remembers his own cybernetic hand and how he is starting to tread in his path.
He pulls back and thus ruins the plans of the Emperor which is why he is so pissed and tries to kill Luke.
I love wild theories but this one was just bad.. pulling things out of the hat where there are none and then trying to pass then as logical conclusions (which is the hallmark of wild theories but this one had bigger than usual holes).
I think the lack of Luke simply means the film will have a lack of Luke. In other words, he won't show up until the very end. I don't think there be a post-credit scene or anything like that, but I wouldn't at all be surprised to see some kind of tagged-on cliff hanger right before "Directed by J.J. Abrams."
*My guess is they'll use Han and Leia to "bridge the gap," but want the film to mostly focus on Rey and Finn. Therefore, they save Luke for part II/VIII

I think it was already confirmed by JJ or the production team that the movie will focus mostly on the new characters and that it will be sort of passing the torch between the old guard and the new ones.
It should be like this, we can't hang onto the original trilogy forever and need to move forward. I have my doubts they'll ever be able to create such legendary and impactful characters like Han or Darth Vader again but only time will tell.
If the story is good and engaging and the actors do well i will be very happy to follow Star Wars into a new era.

It seems to be one massive homage to the OT rather than its own story. Look at all the leaked stuff that hasn't been debunked or the trailers. Almost every scene is a nod to something. It just doesn't seem to have an original storyline, but rather is just various homages and nods to the OT glued into one movie. It gets even worse if you extend out the comparisons to the old decanonized EU stuff.
