I don't think so but I do look forward to the next 13 months of fans screaming about this and after the movie comes out probably screaming about how the light sabres were 2 inches too short :p

Entertainment Weekly usually gets their breaking news right. If this is the actual title for the new movie I have to say I really don't mind it. It's not remotely what I'd have picked, but we've heard far worse ideas and title rumors in recent months.

A lot of people complained about "The Phantom Menace" when it was announced as the name of Episode I but for all of that movie's flaws the title was actually good and very effective for conveying the rising and looming threat from the hidden, shadowy Sith Lords as they launched their plot to take over the galaxy. The titles are often the least-problematic things about these films.

What would you have picked? We no almost nothing about the plot. I am neutral at this point.

I can see myself really growing to love it. It's got the same kinda feel as A New Hope.

Although might take a while to get used to abbreviating it as TFA...

The title "Attack of the Clones" actually turned out to be one of the least-controversial and annoying things about Episode II.

thinking about it now.. the new title fits nicely with the definition Obi Wan gave of the Force in the original film

I did the idea that the Force is conscious in and of itself

True, but for my taste the prequel titles were ALL a little too campy and overly-pulpy.

This one to me feels much more in line with the OT titles.

So if the Force Awakens in Ep VII, what's it been doing the previous six movies? So all those Jedi and Sith have been using ACTUAL magic this whole time?!

Nice title and it really fits as they kept having to poke the old cast with sticks to wake them up and say their lines.
