I know what you mean, the Fisher/Reynolds' marriage was before my time as well.

I really have some mixed reactions to these alleged spoilers. They're filled with nostalgia and some mysterious happenings. And instead of putting out a more or less standalone story like ANH and TPM they're giving us a set up for later movies.

Don't know if true but heard one report listing that Disney forced several changes onto J.J to which he wasn't happy with and had look a little stressed at points in the project. I take with a huge grain of salt but this would not surprise me since I hear they do the same in the Marvel movies since they acquired Marvel.
