Star Wars: Did Grevious mourn Dooku's death?

ReadyAndWilling

Fleet Captain
ok, i know this may come across as odd, but Dooku was, for all intents and purposes, Grevious' Yoda. Dooku taught Grevious how to use a lightsaber and how to defeat the Jedi in combat and how to break their will. in ROTS film he doesn't really seem to 'care' all that much about Dooku's death. i haven't finished the book so maybe someone can fill me in here -- does he ever mention how much Dooku helped him as a warrior?

i haven't been able to find much online. i'm not really sure how much Dooku cared for Grevious, it seems that Dooku treated Grevious as little more than a pawn in his scheme?

i'm not sure so i'd appreciate feedback from Star Wars experts on here.

Grevious did not seem like the type who had even a shred of compassion, so I doubt he mourned Dooku.

And the feeling was probably mutual. Sith don't care about anyone, so Dooku (being a Sith) surely didn't.

Watch the Savage Oppress origins in CLONE WARS, Sith training involves torture and the student hating the master.

Of course, Grievous wasn't really a sith apprentice, but the Sith attitude remains.

No. If anything, he was cursing Dooku out in his last days on Utapau. "Dammit, I TOLD him we should've just iced the Chancellor and taken off from Coruscant immediately instead of just sitting in orbit getting pounded on all sides waiting for the Jedi's golden boy to show up, but NOOOO..."

That's most likely the answer. I doubt there was any love lost between the two of them, no matter how much each needed the other.

is it possible for someone to be a sith if they're not force sensitive?

to clarify, grievous did more harm to the Jedi than most sith ever did -- much more than Maul at least.

Of course he did more harm than most other Sith, he was trained by Dooku who happened to be an expert lightsaber master. I don't think Grievous cared one iota about Dooku after Anakin killed him. The process that Grievous underwent to become Grievous was probably very painful. ReadyandWilling, I understand that you're a Grievous fan but you have to remember that the General was nothing more than a tool to Dooku or Palpatine, quite literally. A means to an end. Nothing more. It seems to me you're trying to imply an emotional attachment where there is absolutely none.

It's Grievous, not Grevious.

With the obvious exception of Sidious ( and by extension his master ), who wiped out over 99% of them.

In the novelization he does object to Dooku's plans but Dooku dismisses him and suggests that he file a complaint with Sidious, which, of course, Grievous naturally doesn't want to do.
