Star Wars Books Thread

They eventually released the script for the Dooku one, I wonder if they'll do the same thing for the Aphra one?

Of course Disney Canon has invalidated the backstory, but it's still super fun. Also, it has Mark Hamill as Luke for Star Wars and Empire, Billy Dee Williams as Lando in Empire Strikes Back, and Anthony Daniels performing Threepio in all three.
Eh, I love the backstory no matter what. Give me as many variations of the story as possible, I say!

It was marketed as a proper book. Should have made it clearer it was just a script.
I pre ordered it online before it had a cover. I wasn’t aware of the audio version and so I just assumed it was a book.
Could have at least put some effort into it.

Your first issue is assuming anything. If its a physical book, you could have always, ya know, returned the book.

So you wouldn't read it just because it was a script?
I'm not bothered by reading scripts, it's a bit of an adjustment but you get used to it pretty quickly, if you have patience and an open mind.

According to StarWars.com the e-book of Queen's Shadow will be free from May 1 to May 8 as part of their Star Wars Day/May The 4th celebration.

I finished up Star Wars Adventures Vol. 1 yesterday.
I liked it, obviously the stories in aren't anywhere as complex or deep as the other comics since it's an all ages book, with mostly one or two part stories, but this one's stories were still good.
The little introduction with 3PO and R2 was a nice way to start off the series.
The main story was a nice little look at Rey's life on Jakuu, and it gave us a nice little look at her relationship with Unkar Plutt.
The two Tales From Wildspace were really short, only a few pages each, but they were still pretty good. I was surprised to Evaan Verlaine in the second one, I didn't realize she had been in more just the Princess Leia miniseries.
