News Star Wars Andor anticipation thread

Hopefully they get Jimmy Smits for an occasional appearance.
Anybody know if he's doing anything that could keep him from appearing? He definitely seems like a pretty good possibility for appearances.

He had a show on NBC this past fall that has been all but canceled, so his schedule looks open.

Oh right, I forgot about Bluff City Law. I actually watched the first two or three episodes of that, and I thought it was pretty good. I just ended up getting side tracked and then forgot all about it.

It's being rumored that both Jimmy Smits (Bail Organa) and Alistair Petrie (General Draven) will be reprising their characters for this series. But so far it's just coming from sites repeating with other sites have published, no legitimate sources yet.

I don't remember her in Pacific Rim: Uprising, but I did like in Emerald City.
Is this the first we heard about the other cast members mentioned in the article?

I can understand not wanting or not being able to travel right now, so it makes sense to go with someone who's in the area. I'd definitely take that over having the show delayed until Gilroy is able to get to England.

I'm really looking forward to this one. Cassian Andor is a fascinating character and to me he's the most charismatic SW guy since Han in the OT. I'm looking forward to learning more about his past.

Diego Luna has confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel that he is currently in London for production of the Cassian Andor series.

In London? Does that mean that they're building a new volume, or just that they they're rebuilding the Yavin base set, I wonder.

I mean at this point I'd be surprised if they don't have multiple volumes up and running by the end of the year, but I guess i assumed it'd be easier to build them all in the states.
