If Star Trek XI is successful- which I hope for all trek films, let bring back the doomsday machine. Since pretty much Star trek XI is a reboot and the universe is be remade. A film on the doomsday machine would be interesting idea perhaps ala dominion's first attempt to attack the federation. What are your thoughts on what would Star trek XII might be?

Actually I'd like to see "The Balance of Terror" brought to the big screen.
it was . in the fifties. the movie "the enemy below".that episode was based on that film.
I'd prefer no remakes of previously produced movies/episodes. We've been there, done that; lets cover some ground in areas of time and space we haven't seen before.
If ST doesn't push a reset button, if we truly are in a new timeline by films end then the future is wide open to all new story telling possibility's.

Actually, using the Doomsday Machine as a jumping-off point for the second "Star Trek" movie is a pretty good idea, given that we're going into a new continuity now.

How about a "Buried Age" or another archeological mission tie-in? With Captain Morgan Bateson in temporary charge of the Enterprise-E & Worf as X.O., etc.

Actually, I had a thought the other day that they could have mirror Will Decker crossover on the mirror Constellation and make mention to him killing his father the commodore.
I'd like to see a TV show as in the new timeline USS Voyager would never exsit so the Aeon shuttle would never be lost in the 1900's, Henry Starling would never create the computer age & as such there would be no Voyager 6 probe, which means no Borg, so we have 1000s of untouched worlds.
If the new Enterprise was built using late 24th century technogly, then we can expect quantum torpedoes & maybe a working transwarp drive, though is it possible that the new warp effect we see in the 2nd trailer could it be a slipstream drive ?, & if so it really would allow for new missons beyond the final frontier.
