Star Trek XI "sneak peek" during 'Heroes'? (Star Trek: The Future?)

Re: Star Trek XI "sneak peek" during 'Heroes'? (Star Trek: The Future?

I'm glad. The more I thought about it, the more that "Star Trek: The Future" sounded like a really, really rediculous name.
You must have loved all that X2: X-Men United stuff, then. :D

That actually wasn't the name of the movie if you look at the movie posters as well as the credits during the movie. "X-Men United" was slapped onto the DVD and VHS cover art and looks like it's here to stay.

Now X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The First Avenger: Captain America, and A Twilight Tale: New Moon, on the other hand...

Wait, wait: So most Germans love Star Trek?
I don't know about "most", but it's pretty popular there. As I understand it, the actors who do the voices in German for TV broadcast have their own fan clubs and are popular guests at the German conventions.

Actually, X2 and all that jazz didn't really bother me, but there is just something about "Star Trek: The Future" that bothers me, and I think it goes beyond just being redundant. It just sounds awe-strikingly silly, especially compared to other silly subtitles

Well, not everyone. But yes, the German fanbase is quite huge. Personally I never really was part of any organized group, but I know that there are many many German fans. I think that is also evident in the relatively high number of German posters among the non-english posters around here. At least that's how I feel about it. Although one must say that since Nemesis and the end of Enterprise even the German Trek fans are on the decline.

Mostly just Patterns of Force. Melakon was the REAL power. ;)
Oh, come on, Kryton, that's beneath you. Sorry if I seem a little touchy in that regard. :shifty:
