Star Trek XI is for a new generation? BOYCOTT!

Who asked for a new generation anyway? Certainly not me.

Back in my day, 5 years ago to be exact, we didn't need any fancy next generations. We had plenty of TOS back then. TOS was everywhere, it was like the golden age of TOS, way back in 2004.

Anyone here old enough to remember them good old 2004 days? Eh? Back then we only had SHAT. SHAT was Kirk, back in 2004. ShatKirk had been dead about a decade at that point, but he was still Kirk. The only Kirk. And he was dead. And we had BBK. Those were some good times.

But now it's 2009, and these young bastards who don't remember 2004, like Abrams, are pissing on the golden age of TOS by having a new Kirk and aiming their movie at the Next Generation. If that's not anti-Trek and anti-Fan, I don't know what is. Or was. Or WILL BE.

I think they're marketing this thing at kids! Frankly, I was a little peeved to learn that there are still kids around. There were kids in my day, but we grew up, so where do these new kids keep coming from? It's perplexing.

Star Trek shouldn't be about the future, it should be about SHAT. This movie gives me animosity. 2004, rest in peace. You were a good year for TOS fans.

In closing, the nacelles are too big.
