Star Trek XI for Christmas - anyone else?

I got it have watched it already love it more did you get it it is fab having Star Trek on 2 disc edition.
Got the blu-ray version when it came out back in November - but only downloaded the digital copy to the computer. Two weeks ago I purchased a blu-ray for the parent unit for xmas to go with their humugous plasma just so I could watch it in all it's glory!
I got the (Target) blu-ray version a month ago. I got a blu-ray player this morning as a gift from my next door neighbor. I watched it already today. Tomorrow with audio commentary. Maybe if I get home early tonight, deleted scenes, gag reel and other extras. All while I gaze at my free included Enterprise model/disc case.
I got it today. I've already watched all the special features and am about to listen to the commentary.
Got it today and watching it as we speak. I'm at the scene where both Spocks meet. 
Wow...surprised so many people waited for Christmas! What self-control!
A friend sent me an advance copy back in October, but it did not have the extras. My brother got me the 2-disc DVD for Christmas. We watched it this afternoon. Since he left for home, I have been watching all the extras. This weekend I plan to watch it with the commentary.
My brother must be a closet Trekkie because he spoke most of the TOS catchphrases along with the movie. "I'm a doctor, not a physicist" etc. He is a huge fan of Big Bang Theory so I think he picked much of it up from there. Either way we enjoyed ourselves immensely watching the movie today!!

I showed what some have termed "considerable restraint", and waited until Christmas for Star Trek.
I have the Target exclusive Enterprise model DVD, and the Best Buy exclusive Blu-Ray (with the pins).
My wife also got me Star Trek: The Art Of The Film (great book, BTW).
Needless to say, I was extremely happy.

Yes, the waiting finally at an end, I got the Blu-ray version yesterday and we all watched in glorious hi def. Looking forward to getting through all the extras.
Yep, I requested and received my very own copy. Won't be watching it too soon (I don't rewatch anything frequently - I have maybe 10 DVDs in total in my collection) but I just wanted to know that I could.
This is not just the first Star Trek movie I own on DVD but the first Star Trek anything I own on DVD. No, I don't even have DS9.

I wanted to wait until after Christmas to see if I could get the blue ray version on sale. The price seems to be coming down, so I'll see what either Target or Best Buy have. I couldn't face the crowds last week, so let's see how it goes this week.

But I did buy the novelization for myself at Borders this mornin', since it was on clearance, if that counts.
And I picked up the movie calender for 50% off for a geek white elephant I'm goin' to later this week.
