Star Trek Website: Interview with Kristen Beyer

Or the "How We Praise the Fabulous, Brave, Daring, Glorious, Divine Kristen Beyer" thread.

It might break our record :D

Sehlats have been invoked. There is no going back now. All creatures from Vulcan now follow Surakian thinking...

Ha Ha! I'll bear that in mind!

Sorry! I came up with this idea a while ago and thought it would make a quite believable April Fools Prank!

Yeah it was good. You're cut off from the coffee supply! ;)

Isn't the authors name Kirsten Beyer and the name of the book is 'Children of the Storm'.
This is the book many readers were waiting for after Katherine was killed off in 'Full Circle' that was first circulated in 2009.
Look him-up on Amazon.

Yes JB misspelled Kirsten's name and then it got continued in the thread that way. Sorry Kirsten. And Lord Manitou she was killed off in Before Dishonor, not by Kirsten.

Well according to a report on the Facebook page Bring Back Kathryn Janeway Captain Janeway is NOT coming back in Children of the Storm or in any book right up and through all of 2012. This is the reported commentary of Treklit author David Mack.

Though I like some Treklit authors quite a bit I'm not buying any Treklit new from this point on. Happy to wait for second hand on ebay and give my money to someone other than a publisher that treats one of my favorite characters with such disdain.

For me it isn't even "blowback for treating my fav characters with such disdain."

Its the absence of my fav character.

Without her, STV just doesn't show up on my radar.

I still have an unread book at home... unread because I bought it ASSUMING she would return in it, and she didn't.

I'm not bitter.

I'm just totally uninterested.

I think that about sums it up for me, too. :guffaw:

I dunno. I sorta like Eden, though. Maybe I'll wait until a copy shows up at Half-Price Books, too. That's where I mostly like to shop, anyway. :)
