Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force

Beating the EF1 boss is all about the grenade launcher. It only takes a bit over 100 shots of secondary fire, targeted underneath him.

I thought I would pop in here since I noticed this was up on the board when I was going down to one section.
I haven't played both games yet but I have seen clips on Youtube for both of them. I actually first heard about this game from the comic that was published by WS and so I thought it would be interesting enough to see as a game.
The EF 2 clips that were on YouTube are not up anymore and never finished showin the rest of the game. I do want to get both games in the near future, since I'm workin on putting together a series based on the games.
Would involve mainly the Hazard Team and well Voyager crew as well. I'll be posting more once I get more active with it.

I used to play EF1 a lot, especially online. Great game! Got me into online gaming..... was anyone else from here, a frequent player online back in its heyday? :techman:

EF2...single player wasnt bad, but the multiplayer was a joke. No wonder ritual went belly up lol. Big let down MP wise! :(

I did play EF1 online, but not too frequently. I got my arse well and truly kicked each time. I much preferred playing multiplayer games against computer opponents, where I could construct the teams myself. Lots of fun.

:D

When I first got EF1 for Christmas many years back, I played it all the time, both single-player and multiplayer. I even went through and played it as both genders, despite the fact that it was the exact same game. I was actually pretty good at multiplayer (if I do say so myself) and I remember playing it on New Years' Eve once for hours. A few months ago I reinstalled and played through the single-player campaign again and found it was less enjoyable the third (or perhaps fourth) time through.

As for EF2, I tried installing it after a friend let me borrow his CD but for some reason it would not work on my laptop and I never got a chance to try it on my desktop. Too bad, too, because I really wanted to try it out. The one or two mods I tried downloading and installing for EF1 never seemed to work right, which was also unfortunate. It was a great game -- and one of the only Star Trek PC games I ever managed to get all the way through -- and I have fond memories of it. But I think its time has come and gone for me, personally.

this thread just reminded me how much i loved this game, im gonna have to find my copy and install it!

Trailer for the first TOS Season 4 episode: "The Argas Effect". TOS Season 4 is a continuation of Star Trek: The Original Series that sadly was cancelled after only three seasons. In the form of a mod for the first-person shooter game Star Trek - Voyager: Elite Force the voyage of the Enterprise and her crew continues.

In "The Argas Effect" you play as Captain Kirk and try to solve the mystery of the planet Argas. Visit parts of the Enterprise such as engineering and the bridge, fight new enemies and much more... This trailer is a preview for the Enterprise without revealing to much.

The first half of the game can be downloaded already at:
http://spacestationk7.autom8on.net/

I just came across these as the video was posted February 3, 2009.
Also at that site is a server for gameplay on various TOS maps:

Re: TOS addons ship & characters

What was released of The Argas Effect was amazing, simply stunning. It caught the mood of TOS perfectly, and was a very playable game. In terms of Trek action/adventure games, it promised to be as good as AFU or the two TOS games.

It's a shame the rest looks like it's dead in the water. :(

TOS Enterprise 3D walkthrough

I started the mod was so that I would be able to have my very own recreation of many of the areas of The Original Series. I wanted to be able to walk the decks in full 3D sight and sound. The mod will at the very least be an interactive tour of the Enterprise. You will be able to get into turbolifts and explore 6-8 decks of the ship.

Deck 1 - Bridge*
Deck 5 - Officer's Quarters, Crew Quarters, Officer's Mess, Ship's Chapel
Deck 7 - Transporter Room*, Briefing Room*, Armory, Security, Sickbay Complex*
Deck 11 - Phaser Control Room
Deck 19 - Engineering*, Cargo Bay, Shuttlebay

this gives a clear picture of how the levels fit together. It is a overhead 3D map of the different sections of the ship.

TOS Enterprise Engineering
Mysteries of the Sith is an expansion pack to Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II.

one area created is
The Dilithium Crystal Control Room, seen only in the episode "The Alternative Factor."

I think this is an appropriate place to add this to this thread. It was originally in the Trek Arts and Crafts subforum. This is not just Fanart this is an actual walkthrough interactive tour of the TOS Enterprise.

Seeing this work has made me "feel" Star Trek again.

also Donny's trekbbs other thread on this TOS Enterprise interactive tour with loads of images from all of these areas.
