There were good times with Kes and Neelix. Honestly, I like Kes more with longer hair. But they were cute as cuple.
@Thomas Eugene: a wallpaper featuring Neelix and other Talaxians would be nice.....
I prefer Kes with shorter hair. It was a trademark for her. With the longer hair she became just another Starfleet female.
There is something special with female characters wearing short hair. I like Kira with short hair better than the episode portraying her in the past with a long mane as freedom fighter. One could think that long hair was very impractical then. But I also loved it when Kira had her hair a little bit longer in season 7 of DS9.

Wow the contrasting colors really catch the eye. Was not a huge fan of Kes and Neelix. I felt the whole jealousy arc was poorly done.
Here I am on the opposite side again!
I prefer Kira with longer hair, like in "Emissary" and the later seasons.
In most cases I prefer women with long hair but there are some exceptions. Kes is definitely one of them.

I've always found orange and blue a striking combination.
I guess I should clarify my above statement. I like Kes and Neelix separately, just not as a couple once they turned Neelix into a jealous stalker.

I like both characters but more separately than as a couple.
A nice relatiosnship to start with but they stared to drift apart as soon as they joined the Voyager crew.
kes immediately found a new life and new friends while Neelix became very unsure of himself and his role on the ship.
When he realized tha Kes could manage withouthim, he became jealous and possesive which actually led to Kes getting tired of him so the breakup was inevitable.
It was nice to see Neelix with Dexa. They are such a cute couple. And Neelix clearly enjoys Talaxian company.....

I've recently noticed I haven't made too many Neelix-Kes wallpapers yet - but "aufgeschoben ist nicht aufgehoben" - as the Germans would say. I really don't know how to say this in English, it means something like "just because something is postponed, it doesn't mean it will never happen" - but The Germans can put it so much more succinctly.

And to answer your other question, there are plans in my mind to create a series of wallpapers with individual species (including Talaxians) but these are unfortunately not plans that are going to materialize for the foreseeable future (for various reasons). Sorry about that. But thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely add it to the "Wish List".
