Star Trek Voyager Desktop Wallpapers

Not my favorite colors but I loved that episode. Very nice.

I like the dark background. White or even light colors don't work well because my shortcuts are white and I can't find them. Lol

Yeah, I had that wallpaper with her where she wears white from different episodes - do you remember that one?
We see Naomi Wildman in DEADLOCK for the first time - the episode in which she is born. Actually two of them are born at the same time but one of them dies ... :wah:
Then we can see her in BASICS as the local inhabitants of that planet in the Hanon system help her get over the high temperature she is suffering from.
So in MORTAL COIL she actually appears for the third time in the show - albeit it is the first time she's been able to speak properly.

Ah, yes, I do recall that other wallpaper and I think either you and I or someone else and I previously agreed that she looks good in white. My memory of that exchange apparently is better than my memories of some of the details of this series (as per my failure at recollecting Naomi's birth and some details mentioned in the Replicator Rations thread), which can only mean one thing: I need to watch more VOY!

As for the meaning of "frumpy" (and not to step on Refuge's toes since you were asking her) it is something like "old-fashioned" or "unfashionable"...

This episode was original because even if it was a holoprogram created by Tuvok for some security reasons, it was based on a true possibilty to see the Maquis and its leader, Chakotay, stiring up a mutiny (besides, didn't he say at least 2 occasions, that he has gotten the idea but decided at the last time to stop before it is too late?!... even if I think that all attempts would have ended in failure not without caused some serious damages among the Starfleet crew/equipment).
Anyway, what was interesting for me,was to see which side (Janeway's or Chakotay's) would be chosen by some (Tom Paris, B'Elena Torres, Tuvok, Harry Kim, Neelix and of course, the Doctor).
-> I notice that Paris, Kim, Tuvok, Neelix & the Doctor would join Janeway while Torres - though some serious hesitations, would end on Chakotay's side (same in the Voyager's Conspiracy, while she is already in couple - and even married - with Tom). I would have liked that this issue be discussed by the B'Elena & Tom because it is clear that Tom is the type to defend his positions / opinions when he disagrees, even if it means to argue and get opposite view with his wife, instead of following her obediently....

Regarding mutiny I only recall him mentioning it once in Equinox but he says he did not do it because it would be crossing the line.

This also plays directly into Life Line where Janeway is angry because Starfleet wants to know about the Maquis. She says she doesn't see Chakotay, B'Elanna or the others as Maquis. Chakotay replied she may have forgotten but they had not. That is why B'Elanna sides with Chakotay in The Voyager Conspiracy imo. The bonds are just that strong.

Hello guys, thanks for all the feedback and the compliments. I was blushing ... seriously ...

And I'm very happy that you liked THE VOID wallpaper. This was the 6th one for that episode, my personal fav is the 8th - just wait and see. But I can tell you now that Janeway will be seen with a cup of coffee in that one - and it's difficult to beat the pictures in which our beloved Captain is drinking her favourite drink, isn't it?

Anyway ... for today we have DEATH WISH ... and some reddish-pinkish hue:

I have to say that this is not my favorite episode; I actually like the wallpaper more than the ep. Janeway also looks good in red (or maybe pink) ;) and it's not just her uniform (Chak looks good too of course) :luvlove: I also like the way the quote/type looks in relation to the rest of the paper.

It was a time when Riker's only chance to appear somewhere in the Delta Quadrant was Q. I forgot about this events - Q didn't. A bit off topic: Riker is captaining the Titan now. I'm wondering if Q has haunted him already there.....

Hello Guys,
So I have to tell you Thomas Eugene. I went through all 86 pages (yes, all of them) and plucked out the ones I love best for my laptop. It was hard. I had to pick carefully, but I now have some beautiful backgrounds thanks to you. I am in your debt.

So the first two posts came from Cat ... and Mouse? :D Many thanks, guys.

Cat, I am happy to see whenever it turns out that someone likes my pictures. Even better when I hear that someone actually uses them as wallpapers: they are meant as such. And no, you don't owe me anything - liking and using these pictures is enough reward for me.

The good news is that by my estimation I have about 400 more to share at the moment - and, even better I keep making them on a continual basis. They are a very relaxing way of spending your free time. Most people like to rabbit on about nothing all the time (just have a look at some of the threads on this message board ) - so expressing yourself visually is a nice break away from them ... :guffaw:I hope the pictures will keep people entertained for a few more years to come. Right now I'm working on some COUNTERPOINT wallpapers - I guess I can start sharing them sometime in May.

Mouse, I agree the reddish-pinkish colour suits Janeway - and everyone else in that pic. But you know my obsession with red and blue (and there's a blue wallpaper for today! :)). Not that I don't like other combinations - such as orange and purple together - but red, blue or their combination totally rock in my book.

Also, it is interesting that DEATH WISH isn't among your fav eps. I know you prefer the Seven of Nine years but I personally think that DEATH WISH is one of the highlights of the Kes years.
Having said that nothing beats BLOOD FEVER for me form the first three seasons - well, perhaps CARETAKER does but nothing else.

Thanks for the info, Kilana. There was a time when I was playing around with the idea of starting the TITAN series but seeing as how I am not a big fan of the VOY relaunch books, I wasn't sure I'd like those better - so I dropped the idea. But I know that Tuvok is a main character in the TITAN series so I might give it a chance one day.

Huh, this is interesting... I knew of your penchant for the blue/red color scheme, but I had no idea that you loved Blood Fever to this extent. Would you say it's your 2nd fav ep of the first 3 seasons? I enjoy it too... it's a pretty sexy ep all around. Oh those grey jumpsuits...

Yep, a little cat & mouse game... ;)
