Since the subject of the thread calls it "wallpaper," why not assume it's wallpaper?

Personally, I like to find wallpaper that has the subject balanced to one side, so that the area on the other side can be used for all my desktop icons, without covering up the subject of the art.

^This. I think the lighting crit. is reasonable, but I was looking at the composition and it isn't so bad if you assume the blank space is an icon park. As a bit of art, I'd slide the shuttle and ships a bit toward the station but not much.

Using the rule of thirds, and assuming the station sits on one of the "3rd" lines, a good trim point cuts right through the middle of the Connie. I think that's a reasonable set up for a desktop wall paper. I suppose it depends on how many icons you clutter your desktop with, but it would fit mine almost perfectly.
