Star Trek Vanguard: Storming Heaven - Back Cover Copy

New project: Reading the entire Vanguard series again before Storming Heaven comes out, starting with Harbinger, which I haven't read since 2005.

I'm starting this myself next month. I'm pretty excited.

And apart from Harbinger, I've been reading them all for the first time over the last few months.

A quick heads-up for Vanguard fans who've been searching for copies of Reap the Whirlwind — the print-on-demand version that normally retails for $28 on Amazon is currently available for $11.20. If you want to snag one of these, act fast; as of this posting there are only 5 copies left at this price. (I just bought three of these in preparation for some promotional giveaways I'll be doing for the series finale in April.)

I know it's still more than it should cost, but at least these are new copies, and $11 is a lot less outrageous than $28.

I was just watching TNG: Power Play and it is stated that no Daedalus class ship has been in service for 172 years. (At least I think that was the exact figure; Memory Alpha places the decommisioning date at 2196.) How does this dating make sense with the Lovell? I'm assuming since it was pulled out of moth balls and extensively modified there is no discrepency? Didn't know if anyone else had any thoughts.

I thought there was some reference to the Lovell being an off-the-record SCE project or something along those lines, which kept it consistent.
