Star Trek Vanguard: Storming Heaven - Back Cover Copy

As we get closer to the finale's release date, I will be posting some behind-the-scenes glimpses into the creation of the series, its inspirations, and paths not taken. So be on the lookout for some Vanguardian goodness in 2012!

:)

Brilliant. I've been reading the series over the course of the year and I'm upto your story in Declassified and plan on reading What Judgements Come when it's arrived in the post and being able to read some of these "Easter Eggs" would be cool.

As for the issue around Reap the Whirlwind, I read a copy from the local library and plan on buying it when I reread the series at somepoint.

Calling it now: Vanguard ends with Capt. Zhao Sheng returning from the dead, swooping in on the Great Bird of the Galaxy, defeating the Shedai with arrows to the knees....

...right? :vulcan:

I can't wait til I can get a copy for myself and read the big finale. Also looking forward to the behind the scene pieces too. I'm glad we got an TOS verison of DS9 in a way. David, can you say if the Enterprise makes an appearence since she was in the first book too?

She's also on the cover for Storming Heaven unless that's been changed to Endeavour or there is a totally new cover.

Yeah I knew she was on the cover but I was asking cause she could really be Endeavour instead. I didn't wanna give up my hopes through.

Other than those 5, and the crew of the Enterprise (minus a few redshirts most likely) who knows what will happen.

I cannot wait for this book to come out.

I was just watching TNG: Power Play and it is stated that no Daedalus class ship has been in service for 172 years. (At least I think that was the exact figure; Memory Alpha places the decommisioning date at 2196.) How does this dating make sense with the Lovell? I'm assuming since it was pulled out of moth balls and extensively modified there is no discrepency? Didn't know if anyone else had any thoughts.

New project: Reading the entire Vanguard series again before Storming Heaven comes out, starting with Harbinger, which I haven't read since 2005.
