Your welcome.

I can't pass up this chance at being snarky, so please forgive me...

....but the title of the thread makes me think of Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace....or perhaps you meant Star Trek: The Picture Motion.

Again, I'm sorry.

P.S. One day back when the Director's Edition of TMP came out, I was I.M. chatting with a friend, and I was referring to The Motion Picture (TMP) while she was referring to The Phantom Menace (TPM) and it's pretty amazing how long it went on before we realized we were talking about different movies. Good times.

This would be great except I've owned these movies on Blu-ray for five years now. :techman:

Cool! I have them all on disc also, but I thought putting the thread here would be a good idea to alert anyone who doesn't already have 'em. ;)

Okay, that's funny.

Reminds me of a conversation about comic books I overheard a several years ago, in which one person was talking about the Flash and the other was talking about Flash Gordon, and a certain degree of confusion ensued . . .

How is the quality of these films, particularly when streamed via an Apple TV? Are they comparable to the highest quality on Netflix or Amazon Prime? And are they in 5.1? For some reason, Netflix's versions of the first three films aren't in 5.1. I've been considering buying the director's cuts of II and VI, as iTunes and Amazon seem to be the only place you can get them in HD.
