Cool.

But I think you mean Cinematographer or Director of Photography. There's no such title as Director of Cinematography. :)

Still haven't received mine. I hate to do it, but after two and a half weeks I'm thinking it's time to drop a note to La-La Land.

What was your order number? If it was >= 52600, you'll have to wait; La-La Land ran out of stock earlier than expected.

Well, it was a little over 1700 orders before that, ordered minutes after it was released, and declared shipped a few hours later. I sent an e-mail to them yesterday. Hopefully we can work things out. Considering they have already blown through half their run, I would hate to miss out on this opportunity simply because the copy I actually ordered and paid for never arrived.

I ordered mine on the 2nd day and got it within a week. If you ordered on the launch date then you definitely should contact them..

Maybe this is a silly question, but have you checked the order-tracking link in the confirmation e-mail they would've sent you when you ordered? That should give you some information about its shipping history.

I would have been delighted if there was tracking, but the only significant link in either e-mail I received was to an order status page which confimed, "Order Status: Shipped" and "Tracking: USPS Shipping."

Still, I've heard they have great customer service, so I'm hoping for the best. :)

Odd. A lot of sites give you an actual tracking number that you can use to track the package through the US Postal Service site.

I'm in the same boat as Basill. Ordered on first day, received shipping notice, but no tracking # via USPS.

I'd definitely contact them. I had mine seemingly get lost in the mail; I e-mailed LLL about a week after I had gotten the shipping notice and they told me to wait until the end of the week to see if it came. After it didn't, I emailed them again and they immediately sent out a replacement copy that I received 2 or 3 days later. Very pleased with how they dealt with my complaint, and the album itself is fantastic.

^^The guys at La-La Land are good people. I'm sure they are doing everything they can to make sure everyone gets their ordered CDs as quickly as is possible.

Agreed. And don't worry, they have copies set aside in order to replace defective or lost copies, so you're covered even if they sell out.

I sent a formal e-mail, but also figured I try by phone. I finally spoke to a fellow that said they wouldn't have any in until Monday (estimated) but that, given my order date, they'd put me up at "the top of the list" for the next batch going out. Hopefully I'll have a replacement sometime next week, holidays notwithstanding.

I've always been fascinated with how some sounds in music are created. I've been able to figure out that both the waterphone and the blaster beam was used a lot in TMP but I can't figure out what is making the clicking sound in the beginning of the Klingon Battle track. Anyone know?
