Hi,
I have been working on making my own character generator for local use to help prepare a Star Trek role-play group in town. I was going to upload the website that generated a character sheet to my domain on a non-listed/advertised branch of the hosting...
currently, I have forms on the site with no actions...
At home, I have java script writing to the bottom of a page with forms...
Questions:
1) if I were to host the file remotely so that my friends/group members could access under a non advertised location for the game play would that breach copy write laws?
2) Anyways, I have questions about maybe sending a final submit button to use site as an "I frame" to load in to a print page. I gave the character creation tool a spot in the middle of a page that already loads to an I-frame. I am not certain if this section offers help in javascript. thought I'd ask.
I'll probably look in to it myself too... but was wondering if anyone had done something like that on a web development... to save time and maybe gain another web wizard eye on the problem.(I have a membership at some web creating help sites too.. and did not post the same message.)
[Edit note: self reply deleted now that I can edit and delete my own posts to threads]
