Well, that is not the IMAX fault, but rather J.J.'s. I saw at least one otherwise glowing review that said next time they hoped J.J. would discover the mid-range shot. But personally, I loved having their faces so big.

Thank you TrekGirl and Jeri....Jeri, I was asking about the screen because I went and saw it at a museum too...it was a dome but ultimately yeah some mid-range shots would of been much appreciated..... but I don't think I'll mind close up's on the DVD though..we'll have to see about that.
