Hello- I am a casual Trek fan relying on the expertise of this group to solve a 20-year-old mystery. I visited Star Trek the Experience in Vegas 20 years ago. I took the attached photo of a creature prop on display in the attraction. At the time, I assumed that it was a prop of the Ceti Eel larva from Wrath of Khan but now I don't think this is the case. Can anyone confirm what this creature is ?

Maybe, but the link is for a deviantart page, just not the actual image itself. They need to right click the image and post that.
That's the so called "fish"*. It was used on the DS9 promenade set and was the lower part of an ad sign.

* "Fish" might not be the correct designation but I remember an interview with an actor/actress (I don't remember who) who was asked which prop item from the DS9 set he or she would like to keep and the answer was "the fish" from the promenade.
