Star Trek The Exhibition beams to Blackpool

I'm not a fan of Doctor Who, I didn't know they had an exhibition in Blackpool though. I was surprised when I saw the Star Trek one was at Blackpool. I don't drive so Blackpool is one of the harder places for me to get to.
But we made it there and had a brilliant day. You can book tickets up to the end of November so I'll definitely be making a return visit before it finishes

With the state of the M6 nowadays, changing at Preston on the train is a doddle compared with driving from the south

Yeah I'm close to Cambridge.....so 3 hour drive at least. I'll just have to wait for a closer one. I've waited 45 years.......whats a few more. ;-)

I've been to a couple of exhibitions in London - the Star Trek Exhibition around 1995 and a later one in Hyde Park. Was there one in the Science Museum too, just after Nemesis? They were before all the props, models and costumes got sold off, so it kind of sounds like this Blackpool one is just the dregs of whatever was left. Bit of a shame.

Blackpool isnt far away from me, but it is a train journey. Maybe if I was at a loose end I'd take a look, but I don't think I'll be rushing to visit.

Saw this just the other day - Shat (with David Brent look) is promoting the Hyde Park Trek exhibition. At one point he says theres a new movie out (Nemesis) and that he's 'heard its very good'...

I do recall Shat was on UK TV a fair bit at the time - was he promoting Has Been or something? He did So Graham Norton and didn't have a clue what was going on.
