"Star Trek: The Beginning" Teaser Trailer

Hey guys. Sometime last year I was excited after watching the teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, and started to create a trailer for fun along the lines of "What if I was in charge of rebooting Star Trek?" So to that end, using my knowledge of filmmaking and CGI, I set off to create a teaser trailer based off that concept. This includes a differently designed Enterprise, drydock, and shuttlecraft. So without further ado, I present the fan teaser trailer for "Star Trek: The Beginning"...

That was amazing! I hope I can get to that level, one day. I especially like that shot of the saucer section taking off from the ground, and when the Enterprise goes to warp at the end.

Oh man....fantastic...with your talent you could make an entire episode..I would love to see something like that for an entire movie and/or episode on bringing back Kirk.

Good stuff, looks like it could've come from a late Trek episode.

I'm a little concerned about the sun's position relative to the Golden Gate Bridge. The bridge runs north-south and you seem to be showing a shot of it from the south west looking into the bay putting the sun coming over hills in Sausalito unless my geography is screwed up.
