Star Trek Tech - Which would you have?

I'd like a Hanger sized Holodeck with built in replicator and transporter capability and long lasting power supply so that I could replicate everything I wanted, including shuttles and starships (in parts of course), and if I fancy a couple of cars etc then I've got that as well.

A working replicator. There are already things a bit like the holodeck (internet and fiction in general) and replicators are very useful. I could make almost anything with it.

I can't comprehend why anyone would actually choose anything other than a replicator. It boggles my mind.

I think there are some things replicators can't make.
I'm not sure if it's canon or not, but they can make some food and drinks, but not more complex things like phasers, they have to be made the old fashioned way.

On that note, I'll take a phaser.

Actually, the replicator can make tools, weapons (fully charged) spare parts, and materials in general just as it can foods and beverages.

As a matter of fact, it hasn't been stated on screen what the limitations of replicators are, apart from the fact that if you want to replicate something much more complex, such as a rare resource, it would simply take much more energy.

And even then, it wouldn't remain such a problem indefinitely because over time they would simply figure out how to make those things with smaller amounts of energy, simply increase their power output generators, or just move beyond the need to use the resource in question.

I'll take a replicator with a sufficiently strong and renewable energy source.
That way I'll just fabricate whatever I need in parts, and assemble accordingly.

Energy storage. The tech that can make the kind of batteries that power a hand phaser. Something the size of a D cell that would power a Prius for 200 miles.

Man,I just got back from monday night football with the lads.I'll take an Emergency medical hologram.
My old knees aren't what they were.

Another vote for the replicator. I mean really, it almost eliminates the need for currency.

Not almost, but completely.
In fact, we had the tech to eliminate currency for a few decades now (no, not the replicator) ... society simply doesn't want to do it though.

Something about the premise that everyone could live luxuriously without the need for current misery, problems, diseases and whatnot puts off people and companies in positions of power/control.

Medical Technology. I can't stand hearing about the health care crisis in America. I just want everybody to be well.

I vote for replicator as well. Aside from all your material needs being met, who needs a holodeck to live out those erotic fantasies, when you can simply replicate all the fine women in the world for your own pleasures.;)
