Chances are, yes. The trailer as described (I won't post the desciption, but it's available elsewhere on this site should you care to look for it) features the ship under construction. What we've seen in that photo is very likely the last - or very nearly last - shot of the ship in the teaser... the "big reveal" if you will.

can't wait to see it either. too bad they havent released it yet. kinda disappointing that they even said that it'll be available on the 21st instead directly with the theatrical release.

Yep.

Although I found myself so fixated on the lettering and the incomplete nacelle caps, I failed to notice the background (ie. Earthbound vs space) that the canon fiends are panicking about; it was hard to see where the ship was being constructed.

Also post the response the trailer got from the crowd & any comments that are made, as this will indicate whether or not the teaser is having the desired effect.

Okay, I like it. All the nitpicky shit aside about the CGI model, it felt good to see those name and numbers on the big screen again and her Nimoy's voice.

Beautiful. The JFK voiceover gave me goosebumps, and then Nimoy's voice leading into the music was a full on nerdgasm. Loved it.

I think it is a new recording; it's not the one from TWOK.

Agreed. It sounds like a new delivery of the "Space... the final frontier" line to me.

Something much older, gruffer about the voice. Hopefully, Nimoy hasn't gone back to smoking 30 a day.

Cool trailer. Back to basics and clearly aimed at exciting both fans and non-fans alike.
