Strange New Worlds continues with a good old-fashioned TOS-style episode.

"The U.S.S. Enterprise becomes stuck in a nebula that is home to an alien consciousness that traps the crew in a fairy tale." - TrekMovie.com

Saw the preview. I am not feeling them making uhura the evil queen. Like why do that with the most naive, youngest and still innocent like character of the show.

If anyone should have been an evil queen it should have been una or laan or even Chapel. Unless this is just another chance the writers are using to keep downplay uhura.

I wish this season was 20 episodes. Gotta say I'm surprised; the series is getting better with each episode, despite my continued irritation with not hearing/understanding all the dialogue. And I suppose it's the filming style which makes some scenes seem sedate. But everything else is improving nicely.

As long as her becoming evil queen doesn't mean "camp & kinky" like the fracking Mirror Universe.

I don't mind camp and kinky. However I have been quite disappointed in this show with the direction they took uhura. She has been outshined by Chapel and even lann in every way.
The last thing the show needs is to now make her the mean evil girl while Chapel is the fair and noble sweet heart and laan is the princess that needs saving

I'm glad Uhura is being outshined and preferably I would not have her in the show at all. I don't want to see any of the old main crew except the unavoidable Spock.
The kinky thing annoys me because I think the idea of kinks as "deviant" is something we should have moved beyond by now.

Una or La'an being the Evil Queen would be boring and obvious. The fun of these types of episodes is to see the actors go in a different direction. Pike as a square jawed hero or Uhura as the Ingénue isn't very creative or challenging.
"Downplaying Uhura"? She's had as many good turns as Chapel.

She's only a cadet. She got last pick.

Early thoughts:
I'm especially enjoying Christina Chong's performance so far. And Anson mount too!
I also liked the scene when the "away team" is preparing for the mission.
