Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

If they're doing "never before seen" ships, it might be safe to think they're doing stuff (like from Picard Season Three, for example) that Eaglemoss never got to. Both the Titan-A and Enterprise-G could very well be in the initial offerings if that's the case, IMO.

Fingers crossed, perhaps?

I would bet that despite what they say, among the first list of ships Fanhome announces will be the TOS Enterprise, the refit/1701-A, the 1701-D, Voyager and the Defiant.

Ok, maybe not all of those but at least the TOS Enterprise or Refit and 1701-D.

Agreed, I’m not sure how many issues Fanhome intends their subscription line to last, but I have the feeling it’s going to be 95% redos of popular ships that Eaglemoss already released.

There would be things…except for the TOS and Defiant that they could do to distinguish themselves from the Eaglemoss versions aside from a different paint job or “battle damage”.

Have the Refit look like it’s in drydock, with an open shuttle bay and hull panels missing. Make the E-D able to separate the saucer and have Voyager with the nacelles up in “warp” mode or with feet in “landed” mode.

Still wondering if they'll ever make a "skinless Cerritos" to match the look it had in the S2 finale. The old girl looks positively badass here:

...and then there are, of course, all the Cali-class repaints they could do for minimal cost:

Yeah, it would be nice if they tried to differentiate themselves a bit, as well as continue what Eaglemoss was doing, but I can't help shake the feeling that it'll largely just be more of the same. I don't believe they acquired any of the Eaglemoss assets, so everything will be all new molds.

I know I’ll be in the minority here. But I hope they go fully painted with some of the details like the nacelles, deflector dishes, etc… I like the clear/colored plastic but (and it varies from ship-to-ship) if you don’t have great light in the room the ships look like they are always in powered down mode.

the downside is possible paint mis-alignment. Like Eaglemoss with windows.

S.S. Conestoga as well, that and the D5 Tanker were pretty much the last two I wanted — hopefully they have enough stock that I can try to land both.

Yeah, I saw that too. I was keeping quiet about the tanker, cause I didn't want to create any more competition for that one than there already is. I suspect it'll be a long shot, but I'll try.

You can't always tell, anyway. I thought there would be a lot of competition when the Caretaker's array was released, but that wasn't the case at all.

Yeah, I’ve mentioned it before, but there definitely is a saturation point for most of these where it quickly flips from “sells out immediately” to “nobody wants”.

The Master Replicas Club Membership offer ends in one hour, so I went for it.
I hope they have good new ships next year. Looking forward to the USS Hammond and MCRN Tachi.
