Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

Speaking of which

Speaking of, I'm somewhat surprised we haven't seen any of the Son'a ships from MR yet, I'd have thought there'd be a fair few of those knocking around. The Battleship is one of the few things that I bought from Eaglemoss but didn't get that MR haven't had yet. (The only other, I think, is something else we've not seen a lot of, one of the Shuttle Sets, I'd have thought there'd have been a lot of those hanging around too.)

The Son'a ships are on Real Merch.

The Vancouver is an awesome model. Love it and highly recommend getting one if they're still available.

oh, I was being kinda tongue in cheek about the Vancouver. They put it up a couple times and I chose to pass. It’s just gonna be kinda funny having all but one of the Lower Decks ships.

Have they announced how many Yosemites they'll have?
I don’t think so. It would have to be around the same amount of previously never-released ships. Hopefully it’s around the 1300 that they had for the mid-sized Cerritos so everyone has a shot.

I'm curious if they have been keeping track of those of us who have bought things in the past few months already and will retroactively send the magazines for those models free of charge.

That would be nice.

One can hope, anyway...

Also a good question, yes. I do hope they give us some follow-up on those things. They're a big part of what made the entire line so popular.

My big question is are they printing fresh magazines from the original digital files or, like the ships, did they just find boxes upon boxes of them sitting in a warehouse next to the unreleased stuff.
For the larger-sized magazines, my assumption is they found boxes of them somewhere. Those seemed like they were always handled separately (unless they were bagged together for newsstand sales).

I always had the impression the smaller magazines for the newer models were packed at the factory, but maybe that was a mistaken assumption.

I doubt MR would just mail them out of the goodness of their hearts. It would be nice if they just reserved the ones from what you ordered and you could buy them for a reasonable amount.

I’m expecting them to just add them to the site for a few dollars a piece. Maybe spread them out across the weekly drops.

Given their manpower issues I doubt they would be able to go thru to each individual customer and offer them the magazines that match stuff that they have bought.

2000 Yosemite Shuttles per MR. And they will be allowing 2 per person.

That should mean if you are on there at the start of the drop you should be good.

I think it and the E-F really have to be my last ones, maybe one “other” small ship. I started re-arrainging my displays for the Cerritos and Earth Ship Intrepid and I am just about outta room.

I hear you about space, I have to rotate them now.

Yosemite and Dresselhaus for me, then I think I’m done, unless some other unreleased ship materializes.
